Luvo was founded in 2014 with a vision…
When software works well it considers the user’s needs, abilities and requirements first and foremost, whilst also serving to complete the functions required of it by the business.
A successful implementation of a software solution fosters trust and connection between a company and the end users of its product, removing any barriers to brand loyalty whilst empowering employees with the freedom to operate efficiently and effectively.
Releasing software can be a frustrating and laborious process when Software Testing challenges are not fully understood and addressed. This can lead to an unhappy workforce, high attrition rates and ultimately translate to lost customers and revenue.
Luvo provides experienced consultants, proven processes and cutting edge tooling to set you on the right track to address your Test and Release challenges.
Whilst every client is unique and different to the next, the challenges they face in Software Delivery are common, this has allowed us to develop a proven framework for quickly identifying and addressing these challenges, leaving our customers to focus on their core business, serving their customers.
To supplement and complement our core Testing Consultancy we offer a full-service IT recruitment function, leveraging our extensive first-connection network of IT professionals that have quality software as their first consideration.
We realised that this capability was required as our clients will often recognise that quality should be baked-in from solution inception and will subsequently use our recruitment function to supplement their existing teams with quality-driven Software Engineers, Business Analysts or Scrum Masters, for example.
We frequently get asked the origins of our company name, so here it is!
luvo – pronounced [loo-voh]
Our name has two founding origins, the first is a latin word that we felt reflects our professional capabilities and proven delivery experience;
The second, additional meaning comes this time from the Urban Dictionary:
A Luvo is defined as “A person who takes care of their own health and of other people. Someone with a very positive and caring attitude.”
Which, we feel, accurately represents our approach to business and to life, maintaining a ‘can-do’ positive attitude and eating healthy and exercising regularly.
We liked the mantra and the balance between these two alternative definitions and it doesn’t hurt that its an easy name to remember!
